OUR STORY

The cultivation and background of OnePlace Karachi

Within the Seventh-day Adventist Church, ministries such as One Place at Andrews University and Anthem at Loma Linda University Church have pioneered a highly successful model of modern, post-collegiate, student-and-young-professional engagement. These communities serve as a vital bridge between traditional youth ministries and adult congregations.

OnePlace Karachi draws inspiration from the North American Division’s “Growing Young” paradigm and the Young Adult LIFE initiative, both of which have shaped thriving ministries across the denomination. Yet it seeks to cultivate its own identity, one that resonates with the cultural realities, spiritual values, and creative faith expressions of young adults in Karachi.
